As an experienced photographer, I have been shooting historical and cultural subjects for many years. This has allowed me to co-author and edit several popular history books based on my pictures. Depending on the book, some of the scenes were shot in a studio or at suitable locations.

My approach is to treat historical reenactments as a form of time travel, capturing scenes that appear authentic. When necessary, certain images are then meticulously retouched, sometimes using computer-generated imagery, to achieve the desired historical accuracy and eliminate anachronisms.

In addition to being used in books and press, this photographic work has been featured in several museum exhibitions in France and Belgium.
